About Kevin Wong, D.O.
Dr. Wong is a board-certified anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. He completed his anesthesiology residency and cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic . A Queens native, Dr. Wong is proud to serve his home community.
He has received recognition for dedication to trainee education, including Teaching Fellow of the Year, the Cleveland Clinic Excellence in Residency Teaching Award. As a medical student, he was a recipient of a Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) Fellowship Grant. Dr. Wong is also a member of Psi Sigma Alpha, the national osteopathic honor fraternity.
Dr. Wong’s professional interests include perioperative transesophageal echocardiography, blood conservation strategies, and multimodal analgesia in cardiac anesthesia. He is certified in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography and routinely integrates echocardiographic guidance into perioperative decision-making.
